| ABSTRACT Objective::To investigate the effect of diosmin and Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment on pain and quality of life in patients with hemorrhoids.Methods::76 cases of patients with hemorrhoids were divided into two groups according to the order of admission. 38 patients used diosmin treatment (control group), and 38 cases of patients after admitted to the hospital used diosmin with Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment therapy(combined treatment group). The treatment effects, pain and quality of life were compared between the two groups after 7 days of treatment. Results::After 7 days of treatment, the total effectiveness of the combined treatment group was 94.74%, which was significantly higher than 68.42% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)；the painless and mild pain proportion of the combined treatment group was 89.47%, which was obviously higher than 68.42% of the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The combined treatment group patients with more than 60 scores accounted for 100% in Barthel index, which was higher than 84.21% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in two group had no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion::Diosmin and Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment could achieve their good therapeutic effect on the treatment of hemorrhoids patients, significantly enhance the quality of life and reduce the sufferings of patients and therefore, were worthy of popularization. |
