ABSTRACT Objective::To observe the impacts of Wenxin granule on clinical effects and heart rate variability of patients with frequent premature ventricular contractions (FPVC). Methods::99 patients with FPVC were randomly divided into control group (33 cases) and observation group (66 cases). On the basis of conventioal medical treatment for coronary heart disease, the control group received metoprolol; the observation group was treated with Wenxin granule additionally. All cases in both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The frequency of premature beats, clinical efficiency and heart rate variability (SDNN, rMSSD, PNN50, LF, HF, LF/HF) were compared, and the adverse reactions were recorded. Results::After treatment, for the observation group, the frequency of premature beats and clinical efficiency was (311±48) and 92.4%, respectively; SDNN, rMSSD, PNN50, LF and HF increased, and there were significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions were observed for the two groups.Conclusion::Wenxin granule is suitable for the treatment of patients with frequent premature ventricular contractions. |
