| Objective: To analyse the monitoring result of sodium valproate used for patients with epilepsy. Method: Fluorescence polarization immunoassay(FPIA) was used. Result: Of the monitoring results of blood concentration in 110 cases of ill children diagnosed as epilepsy, the blood concentrations were within therapeutical range in 47.27% of patients, that were less than the range in 37.27%, that were higher than the range in 15.45%. Conclusion: The individual difference of blood concentration was large in ill children with epilepsy after taking sodium valproate, timely monitoring of blood concentration and conduct of individual administration have a important significance for controlling seizure. |
