| Objective:To analyze the current situation and developing trend of the consumption of anti-infective drugs used in some main hospitals of Nanjing in recent three years so as to provide information for research, production, sale and clinical use of these drugs. Method: According to the order of the sum, the purchasing information of anti-infective drugs used in 22 hospitals of Nanjing during 2001 -2003 was collected an analyzed. Result:The total cost of the anti-infective drugs used in those hospitals was increased at about 40% in the three years. Among them antibiotics was increased at about 35.6% , the synthetic chemical drugs, increased at about 67.3% , fungicides, increased at about 30.24% , antivirals, increased at about 4. 9% , medicinal herbs with anti-infective effect, increased at about 70. 7% , parasiticides, antituberculotics, antileprotics, antiseptics and germicides were decreased. The largest consumption and percentage was antibiotics in the past three years, imported drugs and joint venture drugs were reported to descend in secondary or primary hospitals , and domestic drugs at secondary hospitals occupied more than 60% and showed an up-trend, but those at primary hospitals occupied 30% and showed a dropping-trend. Conclusion:Due to the large market need, the anti-infective drugs have their vast foreground of development, but enough attention should be paid to the settlement of the increase of drug-fast bacteria due to the abuse of antibiotics. |
