ABSTRACT Objective:To analyze the characteristics and regularity of adverse drug reaction (ADR) occurring in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University in 2010 to offer some information about rational drug use. Method:205 cases of ADR reports collected in our hospital were statistically analyzed in respect of patients’ age and sex, route of administration, category of drug, organs and systems involved, and the clinical manifestation of ADRs.Result:The proportion of ADRs caused by intravenous drip was the most(171 cases,83.41%), anti infective caused the highest proportion of ADRs (116 cases,55.24%), the proportion of ADRs caused by patients above 60 was higher than that in other age group, and the main presentation of ADR was damage of skin and its appendages, and the next was the circulatory system. Conclusion:It is important to strengthen ADR monitoring and ensure safe medication. |
