ABSTRACT Objective:To learn the cases of low blood sugar reactions caused by Xiaoke Pill and analyze their relevant factors to provide references for the clinical use of drugs.Method:207 cases of Xiaoke Pill-induced low blood sugar reactions were statistically analyzed. Result:The male to female ratio was 1.3∶1 and 76.3% of the cases were the elderly.50.2% of the patients had non standard use of drugs, 17.9%, single drug and 54.1% had their combined use of drugs. The clinical types of the cases were mainly hypoglycemic coma (80.2%), 89.9%of cases were cured, and 21 cases (11.1%) showed adverse outcome (death in 17 cases).Conclusion:Xiaoke Pill could cause more severe low blood sugar reactions, and even cause death; therefore, the age, usage, dosage and other factors, must be carefully considered in order to use it rationally and reduce the incidence of hypoglycemia when it is used. |
