ABSTRACT Objective:To review and investigate the occurrence and characteristic of adverse drug reactions (ADR) of the antimicrobial drugs in the First Nanjing Hospital,and provide references for rational drug used in clinic. Methods:266 ADR reports of the antimicrobial drugs were collected from the hospital in 2010 and retrospectively analyzed in respect of patients’ gender, route of administration, drug categories and frequency, organs and systems involved,type of adverse drug reactions, classification of serious degree of ADR,and other aspects.Results:Among the 266 ADR cases,the constituent rate in male was higher than that in female. The intravenous drip administration accounted for 89.85% and oral administration accounted for 9.40%. Among all ADRs of the antimicrobial drugs, cephalosporins and fluoroquinolones were on the top. Lesions of skin and its appendants were the main clinical manifestations. Serious ADRs accounted for 1.88%.Conclusion:More attention should be attached to the monitoring of ADRs in order to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADRs. |
