ABSTRACT Objective:To investigate the occurrence and distribution of adverse drug reactions (ADR) in pediatrics in a hospital to promote the rational clinical use of drugs.Methods:130 pediatric ADR cases collected from January to June 2010 were analyzed in respect of patients’age, sex, variety of drug, routes of administration,organs or systems involved and clinical manifestations, etc. Results:The incidence of ADR cases was the hightest in the patients under 3 years old (n=82,63.08%),97 cases were induced by intravenous administration (74.62%), 5 categories (31 kinds) of drugs led to ADR, in which the incidence of ADR caused by antineophastic was the highest(n=66,46.81%).Conclusion:Great importance should be attached to the monitor and report of pediatric ADR to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR as much as possible. |
