ABSTRACT Objective:To investigate the current clinical pharmacy work in hospitals above class Ⅱ in Hubei Province. Method:The questionnaires were used to analyze the situation of clinical pharmaceutical care in 99 hospitals above class II in Hubei Province. Result:92.9% of the hospitals surveyed had full time clinical pharmacists, and the number of clinical pharmacists in each hospital was mainly 1 or 2. The third class hospitals owned more clinical pharmacists than the second class hospitals. Clinical pharmacists in 60.6% of the hospitals could only provide pharmaceutical care in several clinical divisions. Prescription evaluation(86.9%), participation in ward rounds(80.8%), pharmaceutical information service and drug adverse reaction monitoring were generally developed. Conclusion:Some progresses were made in the field of clinical pharmaceutical care in Hubei Province. However, team construction, clinical service, capability of clinical pharmacists and hospital management need to be improved. |
