ABSTRACT Objective:To analyze and compare the prophylactic use of antibiotics before and after the intervention in patients undergoing cesarean section during the perioperative period to evaluate the effect of the intervention measures and perioperative antibiotic drug management. Methods:Retrospective investigations were made to statistically analyze 196 cases of the patients undergoing cesarean section and using antibiotics from October to December in 2011 and 210 cases from October to December in 2012. Results: The rate of unreasonable use of antibiotics dropped from 77.55% in 2011 to 17.62% in 2012, which had its statistical significance (P<0.05). But there were still some problems in the choice of antibiotics, course of treatment, dosage and other aspects. Conclusion:The intervention measures of antibiotics application played an obvious role in the reduction of unreasonable phenomenon, but the irrational use of drugs still existed; therefore, the intervention and regulation needed to be further strengthened. |
