ABSTRACT Objective:To analyze the characteristics of the adverse drug reaction in our hospital, and provide reference for rational drug use in clinic.Methods: The data were extracted and analyzed by Excel 2003 in respect of age, gender, route of administration, pharmaceutical dosage forms, organs or systems involved in ADRs, ect.Results: Among the 276 ADR cases, 125 cases (45.3%) were male and 151 cases (54.7%) were female. The occurrence of ADRs caused by intravenous administration were the highest (193 cases,69.93%), meanwhile the most dosage involved was injection (167 cases,60.51%); and most ADRs were caused by antibacterial drugs (65 cases, 23.55%); among the top 10 ADR inducing drugs there were 9 antibacterial drugs ; 3 serious ADRs (1.09%) were found; The skin and its appendages damages (55 cases, 18.71%) were the most common clinical manifestations of ADRs, followed by systemic damages (35 cases,11.90%); pharmacists reported 169 ADR reports (61.23%), followed by nurses (32.61%), and the doctors reported the less (6.16%). Conclusion: ADR monitoring should be strengthened , much consideration should be taken on the problems found in ADR reports, and immediate feedbacks should be given to the clinicians to promote rational drug use. |
