| ABSTRACT Objective::To analyze the application and development trend of antidepressant drugs in Nanjing. Methods:The varieties, manufacturers, sales amount and consumption of antidepressant drugs were retrospectively investigated among 34 hospitals in Nanjing during 2010 2012.Methods:The sale of antidepressant drugs in Nanjing was increased year by year and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor occupied the highest proportion which accounted for 70.62%,68.72% and 69.07% of the sales amount from 2010 to 2012, respectively. As to DDDs, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors were antidepressant drugs, accounting for 72.25%, 70.74%, 71.72%. Paroxetine, sertraline and venlafaxine were the most commonly used in 2012. Conclusion:Antidepressant drugs played an increasingly important role in clinical treatment. The composition and classification of antidepressant drugs used in Nanjing was relatively reasonable, which was consistent with the development and present situation of antidepressant drugs in China. |
