ABSTRACT Objective::To evaluate the prescriptions of inpatients administered with human albumin to promote the rational use of human albumin. Methods:One hundred medical records of inpatients administered with human albumin were randomly selected and retrospectively analyzed during January June in 2013 in respect of their age, clinical department, clinical diagnosis, indications, serum albumin concerntration and usage information to evaluate the rationality of medication. Methods:The use of human albumin in 69 of the 100 patients was reasonable, but that for the critical patients(8 cases)and postoperative patients (16 cases) was irrational. The use of human albumin as nutrition in other 7 patients was unreasonable. Conclusion: The prescription evaluation should be strengthened, and clinical pharmacists play an important role in the reduction or avoidance of the excessive use of human albumin. |
