ABSTRACT Objective:To review the preventive use of antibiotics in the perioperative period of urological surgical operations intervened by clinical pharmacists in our hospital, and to analyze the intervening effect of their rational use of antibiotics. Methods:60 urological surgical cases of type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ incision operations were randomly chosen during Jan. to June, 2012 before clinical pharmacists’ intervention and during July, 2012 to Jan., 2013 after their intervention in our hospital, and the rationality of antibiotics use was evaluated. Results:The indication, choice, occasion, usage, dosage and course of treatment of antibiotics use in typeⅠincision operation tended to be rational after clinical pharmacists’ intervention(P<0.01). However, there were still many problems in typeⅡincision operations, such as wide drug choice, longer time of drug use, etc. Conclusion:The intervention contributed to a rational application of antibiotics, but supervision function of clinical pharmacists still needed to be enhanced. |
