ABSTRACT Objective:To characterize the adverse drug reactions (ADR) reports in EYE & ENT hospital, and to provide theoretical reference for clinical safe medication.Methods:250 ADR cases reported to National ADR Monitoring Center were analyzed statistically in the aspects of report source, manifestations of ADRs, suspected drugs, types of ADRs, latency and recognition manners of ADRs.Results: In the aspect of report source, the proportion of the ADR reports from pharmacists was 67.2%, higher than that from doctors (9.2%) and nurses (23.6%). 15 new ADR cases(6%) and 11 severe ADR cases(4.4%) were reported. In the aspects of manifestations of ADRs, the reports on skin and its appendages ranked first (63.2%), and the reports on gastrointestinal system ranked second (13.0%). In the aspects of suspected drug, antibacterial drugs listed in the first place (48.8%), and ophthalmic drugs listed in the second place (17.7%), most of them were ophthalmology diagnosis reagent. In the aspects of type of ADRs, type B ADRs accounted for 77.6%, higher than type A ADRs (22.4%). The ADRs cases which had strong characteristics, short latency and low background incidence were more likely to be found and reported. Conclusion:Considering the special features of our hospital, we should take further efforts to solidate the training of medical staff, actively expand the ways of ADR data mining, understand the characteristics and patterns of ADR, improve the ADR recognition and judgment, and thus strengthen the ADR monitoring and clinical medication safety. |
