| ABSTRACT Objective::To evaluate the application of large volume injection and its rationality of use. Methods::The data of drugs used in our hospital during 2011-2013 were statistically analyzed with the defined daily dose(DDD),cost,number, frequency of drug use(DDDs), and average daily costs(DDC) of large volume injection as the indexes.Results::The number and cost were increased with time/person of seeking medical advice at the same time year after year.The amount of per capital use was 2.23,3.05,2.77 bottles(bags) for the three years,the number of the use of essential drugs of large volume injection was 67.39%-76.9% of the total number of large volume injection,and the cost of essential drugs of large volume injection was 29.69%-33.66% of the total cost of large volume injection in 2011-2013.Conclusion::The utilization of drugs was in accordance with the national policy of essential drugs relative to the large volume injection,but the drugs with higher price should properly been controlled in the total number of use. |
