ABSTRACT Objective:To observe curative effect and safety of clostridium butyricum powder combined with non nutritive sucking on feeding intolerance in preterm infants.Methods:88 cases of preterm infants with feeding intolerance were divided into observation group and control group at random. The feeding method of children in control group were accorded with Guide for Clinical Application of Nutrition Support in Critical Neonates in China, while the children in observation group were additionally given clostridium butyricum powder 0.5 g per time, twice a day, by nasal or bottle feeding. Results:The start feeding time, vomiting and abdominal distention disappear time, full enteral nutrition time, recovery time to reach weight at birth and length of stay (LOS) of children in observation group were much shorter than those in control group(P<0.05). After 7 days'medical treatment, total clinical efficiency of children in observation group (95.45%) was much higher than that in control group (79.55%,P<0.05). The occurrence rate of total complication of children in observation group was much lower than that in control group (P<0.05). There was no obviously adverse drug reactions in two groups during treatment. Conclusion:Clostridium butyricum powder combined with non nutritive sucking had more favorable curative effect on feeding intolerance in preterm infants than pure non nutritive sucking, and with better saftey, which can shorten start feeding time, vomiting and abdominal distention disappear time, recovery time to reach weight and full enteral nutrition time and can reduce the occurrence rate of complication. |
