ABSTRACT Objective:To investigate the application of oral antihypertensive drugs in a military hospital military ward, and to provide reference for improving the level of rational use of drugs and pharmacy administration. Methods:By retrospective method, the utilization of oral antihypertensive drugs in a military hospital military ward during 2012 2014 were analyzed retrospectively in respect of drug types, consumption sum, DDDs and DDC, etc. Results:The consumption sum of oral antihy pertensive drugs increased year by year in a military hospital military ward during 2012 2014, the lowest growth rate reached above 10.04%. During 2012 2014, top 3 drugs in the list of the consumption sum were calcium channel blockers(CCB), angiotensinⅡreceptor blocking agents(ARB)and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI), three types of oral antihypertensive drug accounted for over 87.74%, the consumption sum of CCB accounted for over 40.71%of total . In 3 years, the first single drugs in terms of consumption amount and DDDs were amlodipine, top three drugs in the list of DDDs were levamlodipine, amlodipine and valsartan from 2012 to 2013, while amlodipine, levamlodipine and metoprolol ranked the top three in DDDs list in 2014. In terms of DDC, felodipine was the highest. Conclusion: The structure of oral antihypertensive drugs usage in a military hospital military ward was reasonable on the whole in accordance with “Chinese Guide for Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension”(2010 revised edition). Oral antihypertensive drugs with good efficacy, convenient route of administration and fewer side effects were the main varieties patients with high blood pressure selected. |
