ABSTRACT Objective:To study the characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADRs)of Pegylated Interferon α(PEG-IFNα). Methods:ADRs of PEG-IFNα in the hospital were collected by prospective monitoring from September 2014 to August 2015. Results:There were 183 patients, 114 males and 69 females, 175 of whom had ADRs,412 cases of ADRs,the majority of patients had two or more ADRs during the treatment of PEG-IFNα. The incidence of peripheral blood cells was the highest, up to 98.3%,followed by flu like symptoms, local reaction injection, thyroid dysfunction, etc. Peripheral blood cell decline is often exists in other ADRs at the same time. Severe ADRs were only 8 cases, accounting for 1.9% of the total number of ADRs. There was no significant difference in the gender and BMI of the patients with PEG-IFNα. Over 50 years of age, peripheral blood cells decreased more significantly. Conclusion:Although PEG IFNα had many ADRs, it was still a first line drug for the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis. As long as the regular monitoring, to provide appropriate treatment in time when abnormal conditions were found, generally would not affect the treatment of antiviral treatment and effect. |
