ABSTRACT Objective: To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of Shuanghuanglian injection(SHL) in the treatment of acute upper respiratory infections(AURI). Methods:According to the inclusion standard and the elimination standard randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi RCTs regarding SHL in the treatment of AURI were collected through comprehensive searches of China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), Chinese Scientific Journals Database(VIP), Wanfang Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM), PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library. Assessed the quality of the included studies by the Cochrane risk of bias, and extracted the information from the included studies. Meta analysis was conducted with the software Review Manager 5.2. Results:A total of 21 studies with 2 914 participants were included. The Meta analysis showed that effect of SHL in the treatment of acute upper respiratory infection were better than western medicine treatment, SHL injection can improve the total clinical efficiency (RR=1.20, 95% CI:[1.16,1.25], P<0.000 1), shorten the time of fever, cough duration. Conclusion:Shuanghuanglian Injection in the treatment of acute upper respiratory infection had good curative effect. |
