ABSTRACT Objective:To study the effect and safety of arsenious acid combined with thalidomide in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS).Methods:68 patients with MDS were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each 34 cases. The control group were treated with thalidomide, the observation group were given arsenious acid additionally on the basis of the control group. The patients of two groups were treated for 6 weeks for 1 courses of treatment, continuous observation of 4 courses. The curative effect and adverse drug reactions of the two groups were compared, treatment 2 and 4 courses of bone marrow change, and change of hemogram before and after treatment of patients in the two groups were observed. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). When treated with 2 courses of treatment and 4 treatment, the original cell proportion of observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).While treated 4 courses of treatment, the original cell proportion of two groups were higher than 2 courses of treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the WBC, Hb, Plt of two groups increased significantly than before(P<0.05),and the WBC, Hb, Plt of observation group were higher than the control group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Arsenious acid combined with thalidomide in the treatment of MDS had curative effect, it was safe and reliable. |
