ABSTRACT Objective:To explore the regularity and characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) induced by pantoprazole. Methods:Using retrospective study method, 613 cases of ADR related to the pantoprazole from January 2012 to December 2014 in Hubei province were chosen, the age, sex, drug delivery, drug dosage, solvent, ADR occurrence time and ADR involving organs, etc were classified statistical analyzed. Results:The ADRs occurred in all ages , male female ratio was 1.11∶1, there were no gender differences. There were 10 serious ADR cases, accounting for 1.63%, the new ADR in 18 cases, accounting for 2.94%; The main ADR damages involved nervous system damage (23.16%), gastrointestinal system damage (23.98%), skin and its appendages (18.53%), and the serious adverse reactions was allergic shock, palpitation and severe quadriplegia. There was improper solvent in several cases. Conclusion:Importance should be attached to the monitoring of ADRs and the perfecting of drug instructions in order to standardize the rational use of pantoprazoles and reduce the occurrence of adverse drug reactions. |
