ABSTRACT Objective:To explore the risk factors and clinical features of liver damage from 412 cases of the use of anti tuberculosis drugs. Methods:The age,gender,clinical symptoms, liver function index,time correlation and outcome of the patient of liver damage with anti tuberculosis treatment were retrospectively studied from four top three hospitals in the northeastern Sichuan from August 2010 to September 2015.Results:There were 412 cases of liver damage in 4 272 cases patients, the incidence of 9.5%.The incidence in old patients of liver damage were 20.8%(20/96), and significantly higher than that of 9.3%(390/4 176)of young patients. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).There were 318 patients (77.2% of liver damage within 60 days with anti tuberculosis treatment, and 300 patients(72.8%) with clinical symptoms of hepatitis,and 112 patients with asymptomatic (27.2%). After treatment, 387 patients (93.9%) got better or heal, and 25 patients(6.1%)healed.Conclusion:The incidence in old patients of liver damage with anti tuberculosis treatment were significantly higher, it should be closely monitored in old patients with anti tuberculosis treatment with liver function,and timely adjustment of treatment. |
