| ABSTRACT Objective:To analyze the occurrence characteristics on adverse drug reaction（ADR）of Xueshuantong preparations and provide reference for clinical rational drug use. Methods:697 cases of ADR reports of Xueshuantong preparations, from January 2012 to December 2014 of adverse drug reaction monitoring center in Hubei Province, were analyzed retrospectively, involving the statistics and analysis of the age and gender distribution, treatment methods, the primary diseases and allergies, time distribution of ADR, causality evaluation, and systems or organs involved and clinical manifestations of ADR. Results:In the ADR report of Xueshuantong preparations, women were slightly more than men, occurrence of ADR distributed various age groups; improper medication methods and dosage would make ADR of Xueshuantong preparations increase; most ADR occurred within 24 h, resulting in a certain number of serious ADR; systems or organs involved were up to 16, and the ADR were chiefly characterized by the damage of skin and appendages . Conclusion:Xueshuantong preparations might cause a large proportion of serious ADR, therefore, instructions should be strictly followed and more monitoring were needed while using. At the same time, the production manufacturers of Xueshuantong preparations ought to make supplement of drug instructions to reduce the occurrence of ADR. |
