ABSTRACT Background:Chinese Practice Guideline for Individualized Medication of Voriconazole was developed based on the framework of GRADE. The guideline consensus panel and guideline steering committee held a consensus and approval meeting in July 1, 2016 and July 5, 2016, respectively, and approved 27 recommendations. Objective:To assess the scientificity and feasibility of recommendations, in order to further changes to the recommendations. Methods:Aimed at investigating appreciations, clarity and feasibility of 27 recommendations, we asked for advise from physicians, clinical pharmacists and a patient by using paper based questionnaires.The guideline steering committee discussed and revised recommendations based on the results of external review. Results: Twelve physicians, 8 clinical pharmacists and 1 patient from 7 departments, 4 hospitals participated in the external review. The overall appreciation degree of recommendations was 80%, the overall clarity degree of recommendations was 91%, and the overall feasibility degree of recommendations was 80%. Appreciation, clarity and feasibility degree of all recommendations were above 30%. Additionally, 86 subjective suggestions were received. After review of the results, the guideline steering committee finally revised 14(52%) recommendations: main contents of 5 recommendations were modified, while expressions of 9 recommendations were modified (including 2 recommendations integrated into 1). Finally, 26 recommendations were included in the guideline. Conclusion:Our external review supported the development of Chinese Practice Guideline for Individualized Medication of Voriconazole. Property, clarity and feasibility of recommendations were further improved. |
