ABSTRACT Objective:To compare the clinical effect of triptorelin acetate and leuprolide acetate microspheres in the treatment of idiopathic central precocious puberty. Methods:74 children with idiopathic central precocious puberty were selected and divided into group A and group B at random, each 37 cases. Group A was given triptorelin acetate treatment, group B was given leuprolide acetate microspheres. The course of treatment of two groups were 6 months. Compared the two groups before and after the treatment of sex hormone levels, BA/CA, height, body mass index, uterine volume, ovarian volume change, and adverse reactions occurred. Results:The serum FSH, E2 and LH levels after treatment in the two groups decreased significantly (P<0.05); serum FSH, E2 and LH levels after treatment in group A were lower than which in the group B (P<0.05); Before and after treatment, the differences of serum FSH, E2 and LH in group A were significantly higher than those in group B (P<0.05); BA/CA and body mass index of two groups decreased after treatment, while the height increased significantly (P<0.05); The BA/CA and body mass index after treatment in group A were lower than that of B group, while the height after treatment was higher than that of group B (P<0.05); the volume of uterus and ovarian decreased after treatment (P<0.05); the volume of uterus and ovarian of group A was lower than that of group B after the treatment (P<0.05); the difference of volume of uterus and ovary in group A was higher than that in group B (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:The curative effect of triptorelin acetate for idiopathic central precocious puberty was better than that of leuprolide acetate microspheres, and it had no serious adverse reactions, the medication safety was good. |
