ABSTRACT Objective:To review the effectiveness and saftey of Shengmai injection in treatment for ischemic stroke. Methods:Databases of PubMed, Medline, Embase, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, Wanfang data and VIP were retrieved for collecting the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of the treatment for ischemic stroke with Shengmai injection. Based on strict quality evaluation, RevMan 5.3.3 software was use to conduct Mate analysis along with the application of Cochrane Collaboration tools appraise the methodological quality of included studies. Results:An amount of 8 RCTs involving 745 patients was included in the thesis, of which all the included cases were low quality studies. Based on the Meta-analysis conducted, an result of total effective rate (RR=1.24, 95%CI: 1.15 1.33, P<0.000 01, nRCT=7), neurological deficit score (MD=-4.51, 95%CI:-6.02~-3.00, P<0.000 01, nRCT=5) and activities of daily living score of showed that Shengmai injection treatment was superior to the conventional routine treatment (nRCT=2). Conclusion:Routine treatment combined Shengmai injection had shown better curative effect on ischemic stroke and less adverse reactions. Given that the only several low quality cases were included in this Meta-analysis, more RCTs with rigorous design, large scale and multi center were needed for further corroboration of this tendency. |
