ABSTRACT Objective:To Explore impact of pharmaceutical intervention on clinical application of National essential medicines. Methods:Pharmaceutical intervention measures were implemented including identifying National essential medicines at the doctor's workstation, publicizing the clinical application results of National essential medicines in clinical departments, adopting clinical application results of National essential medicines as a performance appraisal indicator of rational drug use, propagandaing National essential medicines policy and reviewing prescription. Sales amount of National essential medicines was compared in 2015 and 2017. Results:The total amount of drug sales in 2017 decreased by 22.39% compared to 2015, but the total amount of National essential medicines sales increased by 18.83% compared to 2015. Chinese patent medicines, Cardiovascular system drugs, antimicrobial drugs, hormones and affecting endocrine drugs and regulate water, electrolyte and acid base balance drugs were the main drug category of the total amount of National essential medicines sales. Of them, the amount of sales of Chinese patent medicines, antimicrobial drugs and hormones and affecting endocrine drugs and regulate water increased significantly. Conclusion:Pharmaceutical intervention play important roles in promoting the clinical application of National essential medicines and improve rational drug use. |
