ABSTRACT Objective:To investigate the actual situation of off label drug use in dermatology outpatients and analyze its rationality. Methods:The prescriptions for 12 days in dermatology outpatients from October 1 to December 31, 2017 were collected and all the off label drugs were listed according to the related drug instructions in indications, route of administration, suitable for the croud. The rationality of off label drug uses was evaluated by searching the instructions, medical guidelines, expert consensus and literature reports at home and abroad. Results:There were 11 different drugs of beyond indications use, except for the lack of evidence based medical evidence for the treatment of seborrheic eczema with carbazochrome tablets, there was relevant evidence to support the treatment; there were 5 different drugs of overdose pathway prescriptions, all of which have evidence based medicine basis; there were 6 different drugs of overfit prescriptions, Only dichloratadine and lupatadadine have evidence of evidence based medicine; no case involved overdose, over frequency of medication. Conclusion:Most uses of drugs in dermatology outpatients are rational and supported by medical evidence. But there are differences in the quality of evidence, which should be managed at different levels. In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of patients and physicians, improve medication safety, the hospital should build corresponding management system and normalize the off label use program. |
