ABSTRACT Objective:To assess the therapy efficacy and safety of amlodipine combined with benazepril for treating resistant hypertension. Methods: PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Embase, SinoMed, CNKI, VIP and WanFang Data were searched for combination of amlodipine and benazepril on resistant hypertension during 2008 2018. Meta analysis was performed by RevMan 5.3 software. Results: Nine literatures were included in this study. Meta analysis results showed that the total effective rates was a significant difference between experimental group and control group [OR=4.35, 95%CI(2.86,6.60), P<0.000 01]. Diastolic pressure [MD=-10.04, 95%CI(-11.4,-8.68), P<0.01] and systolic pressure [MD=-11.86, 95%CI(-13.11,-10.61), P<0.01] had a significant difference between two groups and experimental group was better than control group. Subgroup analysis was performed based on dose and the result showed that it had no heterogeneity between subgroups and different subgroups all had treatment effect. The difference of adverse reactions was statistical between two groups [OR=0.31, 95%CI (0.14, 0.67), P=0.003]. Conclusion:The amlodipine combined with benazepril showed better efficacy and safety for resistant hypertension compared with benazepril alone. Due to limited quantity and quality of the included studies, more high quality studies were needed to verify above conclusions. |
