| ABSTRACTSarecycline is the first oral antibiotic designed specifically for dermatology in the past 40 years. This new, narrow spectrum tetracycline class antibiotic has been shown to significantly improve inflammatory lesions within 3 weeks of starting treatment in clinical studies. It was safe, well tolerated, and effective for moderate to severe acne. |
