ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the characteristics and regularities of adverse drug reactions (ADR) in our hospital from 2016 to 2018, improve the ADR monitoring work and provide reference for rational drug use in clinic. Methods:Retrospectively analysis 2 100 cases of ADR reports collected in our hospital from 2016 to 2018 which were performed according to patients gender and age, categories of drugs, route of administration, main clinical manifestations, reaction grading and outcome. Results:Among the 2 100 ADR reports, the number of male patients and female patients were 1 119 cases (accounting for 53.28%) and 981 cases (accounting for 46.72%), respectively. The highest proportion of ADR occurred in 45 60 year old patients (820 cases, 39.05%). General ADRs reached 2 022 cases, and new ADRs reached 13 cases, serious ADRs reached 64 cases, and new and severe ADR accounted for only 1 case. The doctor reported 551 cases of ADR, the nurse reported 171 cases of ADR, and the clinical pharmacist reported 1 378 cases of ADR. The anti infective agent caused the highest proportion of ADR (396 cases, 18.86%). The most ADR reports were caused by intravenous drip administration (1 104 cases, 52.59%). The main organs or systems involved in ADR were the gastrointestinal system (771 cases, 36.71%). Conclusion:The multiple factors may lead to high frequency of ADR. Therefore this hospital should pay attention to the management of these drugs, active drug monitoring, thereby reducing the incidence of adverse reactions, the promotion of rational drug use. |
